The wheels were built on limited red DT Swiss 240 DEG 90 hubs (only 240 sets were produced). In the case of DEG hubs, the ratchet steel rings are enlarged compared to traditional ones and have as many as 90 mesh points - that is, the mesh angle is only 4 degrees. The wheels are built based on the strongest rim DT Swiss FR 541, which is exemplary in DH and Enduro. The whole is complemented by strong spokes Sapim Race 2.0/1.8/2.0. Weight limit of wheels 140 kg, ASTM classification 5. Relatively low weight of wheels 2067 grams / set.
The new FR 541 features an improved rim flange shape that increases impact resistance and reduces the risk of tire damage. A special profile has been used to increase the rim's stiffness and resistance to deformation. The rims are suitable for a tubeless system, and their 30mm inner width provides excellent tire support in corners, improving stability and handling.
