OUR COMMENT:
The DT GR531 rim is designed for Gravel. The rim is characterized by high strength and relatively low weight. The inner width of the rim is 24 mm, which is ideal for gravel tyres in the 35 - 50 mm range. Wheels built in combination with quality DT Swiss hubs (various models to choose from). The DT GR531 is the perfect choice for those looking to make an effective upgrade to their bike.
DT SWISS R500

OUR COMMENT:
Comparing to the next DT R470 model, the R500 costs similarly but is heavier and has a higher weight limit. Why? The wheels are built on a very wide rim, which has as much as 26mm of external width. This is a great option for people whose priority is very high durability. It is hard to find more "armoured" wheels for Gravel. Furthermore, this rim will work perfectly with wide gravel tyres, especially above 40 mm.

OUR COMMENT:
The wheels are mounted on DT Swiss rims of 20 mm inner width and 24 mm outer width. A choice of 32/32 spoke spacing for the Classic version or 24/28 for the Straightpull version. These wheels are an excellent choice for riders who place a golden ratio between low weight and high durability of the set in the first place. Recommended tyre width in the range 25-40 mm.
