The insert is then seated low in the rim flange, leaving the optimal size of the air chamber in the tire, thus retaining its original shape. This ensures the least rolling resistance and increased driving comfort. In the event of a defect and a drop in tire pressure, the foam returns to its original size, filling the tire completely. This allows the ride to be completed safely, both for the user and the rim.
