Standard sealant application (without using an applicator)
Remove the tire from the rim. After pouring the appropriate amount of sealant into the tire, remount it onto the rim and inflate the Wheel using an air compressor or a specialized pump with a pressure chamber. It is not recommended to use CO2 cartridges for this purpose, as they react with the sealant.
To ensure the sealant is well distributed across the inner surface of the tire, the inflated Wheel should be rotated and shaken in the air at various angles for a moment.
The Wheel prepared in this manner can then be mounted on the bicycle.
Sealant application through the valve (using a dedicated applicator)
Remove the valve cap, then use a valve core tool to remove the valve core (this requires dedicated tubeless-ready valves and a valve core removal tool). Draw the appropriate amount of sealant into the applicator, then attach its tip to the valve and slowly pour the sealant into the tire. Reinsert the valve core and replace the cap. The rest of the procedure is the same as for standard application.
How often should the sealant be replenished and how to do it?
It is recommended to check the sealant level every 4 months. The quickest and easiest way to replenish the sealant is by using an applicator or the nozzle of the smallest 60ml Stan's NoTubes Original sealant bottle.
