A brassnipples are not commonly used on carbon wheels mainly because of their weight. The difference on a set of wheels is 30-40 grams more against alloy nipples. Brass nipples are recommended in conditions where there is a lot of salt (such as when riding in winter or near sea beaches), because they are resistant to corrosion and oxidation - of course, we can use such nipples on request.
